LUPE FIASCO: A RHYMING APE

A fun challenge between friends, I've always loved music and this challenge let me revisit some my favorite albums. To get my fellow designers to take action I created a design prompt and posted it on social media to give a bit liability to finishing the challenge.

My thoughts behind this was an amateur tattoo to fit the low quality studio production atmosphere of the album.

Back Cover
In the final song Lupe pleads to the Gorillaz to not sue him over sampling their album Demon Days. Thankfully they did not, but I found it funny enough to make it a focal point of the design for the back cover.
